Caring for Those Who Care for You
A Culture of Awareness and Continuous Learning
At Seaside Los Jameos, our team benefits from ongoing training in sustainability, energy efficiency, waste management and responsible consumption. We see sustainability not as the remit of a single department, but as a shared culture that runs through the entire hotel. Regular training in equality, human rights and health and safety further supports a corporate ethos rooted in respect, integrity and continuous progress.
This approach helps us to, deepen environmental and social awareness, promote equal opportunities, strengthen professional ethics, inspire continuous improvement in every department.
For us, sustainability is more than a strategy. It is part of the way we work every day.
Rooted in Our Community
“Contributing positively to the world around us”
-
Experiences in Harmony with the SurroundingsWe invite our guests to experience Lanzarote in a way that feels both meaningful and respectful, with activities designed to enhance wellbeing while remaining in harmony with the island’s natural surroundings. From yoga and open-air experiences to collaborations with carefully selected local partners, every element is guided by a more considered approach to travel.
In this way, guests can enjoy the beauty of Lanzarote while helping to preserve the balance that makes the island so special.
-
Workshops Inspired by Nature and PlaceWe encourage educational activities that help foster respect for the natural world and a sense of environmental awareness from an early age.
At our Kids Club, younger guests are introduced to these ideas through engaging activities such as creative recycling, the reuse of materials and learning how to care for the world around them.
These initiatives allow us to:
- inspire environmental awareness in younger generations
- encourage more responsible habits during their holiday
- combine leisure with environmental learning
- reinforce our commitment as a sustainable family hotel
We believe that travel can also be an opportunity to learn, to discover and to care for the planet.
-
Social Responsibility and Community SupportWe are proud to support charitable initiatives and work alongside social projects that make a meaningful contribution to both the destination and the local community.
This commitment is reflected in:
- participation in campaigns and events with a positive social impact
- support for local NGOs and community organisations
- donations and sponsorships focused on local causes
We believe that truly responsible tourism should create lasting value, both socially and environmentally.

We collaborate with the Tías City CouncilTías CUÍDAME! is a municipal initiative aimed at improving selective waste collection throughout Tías by promoting awareness, environmental education and active public participation. Through these measures, the municipality is working towards meeting the recycling targets established by the European Commission for 2030. The initiative also reflects a wider ambition: to make Tías an increasingly sustainable place, where civic responsibility, good environmental practice and respect for both the urban and natural surroundings are part of everyday life.
